Mauro Ugolini’s expressive prospection develops the paradigms which the POST-MODERN artistic movement has proposed as a cultural context and which has become part of philosophical thinking, literature and art in the third millennium.

The suggestive configurations which he produces propose stimuli and sensations which the different sensitivities of the observer can revise freely, respecting personal structural perceptions and his or her real life experience in the singular ideal, in personal spiritual sensitivity.

Ugolini opposes the idea of the need to make order out of reality on the basis of a unitarian and univocal interpretation, and in his prospections extols the interpretative differences of the individual in confronting an increasingly complex world. This activity can be perceived as an underlining of the limits of a rationalistic approach

unable to harvest the positive propositions of each person. Only the freedom to read and to see those things which each of us sees and feels can uncover the interior wealth of humanity in our present time.

Departing from a process of spontaneous creation, Ugolini has eliminated the presumption of being a vehicle for the transportation of messages of truth or of rules, limiting himself to predetermining conditions (free-creative) where the individual, in the fructive moment, interacts with the artist, entering into the projectual dynamic.

Those who observe have the opportunity to realize personal feelings through the dynamics of interior processing, revisiting fantastical imagery, memories of ideas relived…plumbing the depths of self.

The activity the teacher of art and images connects coherently with his artistic prospection, finalized in the predetermination of situations in which students find an opportunity to take stock of their capacity to interpret observation and production of visual messages.

Developing abilities which free creativity and fantasy from stereotypes and promote the possibility to interact with a changing reality becomes ever more complex.
